Ooh La La and Yankee Doodle Dandy!

The Peach Festival was very successful! We were able to touch a lot of people and get the word out about Sanctified Hope. We held a raffle for a “Peachy Basket” and our winner was Chandra Baker! Congratulations Chandra!!

In order to promote North Texas Giving Day, which is on September 14th, Sharon, Janet and Deana headed to Dallas for Party on the Plaza at WFAA Channel 8 Daybreak. What an experience! We arrived at 4:30 am and had a blast! Last year 2500 non-profits participated in North Texas Giving Day and over 37 Million Dollars was raised for them!!! Two of the ladies have been getting ready for Fall Semester at Weatherford College! It is so exciting! Deana has been spending time with Mr. John Chase as he has been mentoring her in her career path of Welding!! Thank you so much Mr. Chase for helping make Deana’s dream come true! Jessica wants to major in Business Management! She has dreams of managing or owning her own business someday!

The ladies had an opportunity to serve at Center of Hope. They were so blessed through giving! They can’t wait to be able to do it again!

For the past several months we have been preparing for our Ooh La La Fall Fashion Show!! We are so excited to present outfits from local boutiques and stores, along with a delicious brunch. If you haven’t purchased your tickets, there is still time! To top it all off, we will holding a raffle for a Caribbean CRUISE, (February 23-28,2018) offered by Integrity Travel Planners!! During the Royal Caribbean cruise there will be a women’s retreat, Rejuvenation at Sea, with featured speakers, Arlene Gale and Deborah Pearle. Music provided by Debra Camp! So don’t miss out! Tickets are $10.00 or 4 for $30. They will be sold at the Fashion Show Must be present to win!

A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTOR

I consistently find myself in awe of how GOOD our God is! He provides our every need. He fills our hearts with joy and peace, even when our circumstances are not happy and peaceful. Our ladies have been tested this last month. There have been some trials that they have had to go through, and GOD has gotten them through. They are spiritually, emotionally and mentally growing by leaps and bounds. To have the honor to witness God working so powerfully, everyday, in so humbling. Our scholarship matches were successful! We have been so blessed by so many. It is absolutely wonderful to be a part of such a giving community! Please pray for a successful Fall Fashion Show. The ladies are so excited to be a part of it by modeling. Some of our board, volunteers and even myself will be walking the runway!
